Passing on news from UK, transactivist lobbyists have had Julie Bindel 'no platformed' by the National Union of Students (NUS)

*Siggghhhh....* Lest some women forget, even other women will be there to remind us...it really is all about the men, so suck it up and shut up. Why? Because the men told us to. And if the "wookie" doesn't get his way, he either beats us up or whines us to death. :nono:

Many years ago, like 30, a friend who was instrumental in changing the way breast cancer is viewed and treated (think BCA) was at a meeting beginning her advocacy around that. No one else was doing that, then.

Women at the meeting were bemoaning the fact that there was so much fruitful agitation around AIDS, sufferers made a big noise, got lots of publicity, they were marching, they were angry...

They were men.

And that's the case here. Men get what they want. They know how to get what they want. They have all the connections men have. These transgendered men are proving they are men. They know how to do it: Raise a fist. Raise money. He's had a lifetimes worth of entitlement being a lawyer, an architect, an engineer, a tenured physics prof, head of a fucking women's studies department somewhere.

That would be the whining part that WT mentioned. When that fails, then it comes to brute force.

Personally, I would like to slap some sense into them.

I'm just getting too old to tolerate 2yo tantrums.

The trouble is they hawk their agenda onto womons agenda and feel entitled to do just that and womon lose all sense of their own ENTITLEMENT for the sake of the fucking menz........Geez Julie Bindle is such a wonderful womon to be hounded by such scrwemerchants in sheeps clothes is gut wrenching.....I relate all this crapology to Post-Modernist Fuckery, another way in which men have 're-claimed and re-named and finally invalidated womons entitlement while preserving and expanding thier own their own. As vile as these Trans are they, without shame hawk off the backs of womon and present themselves as worthy of womons mainstream inclusion, even when WE object......Bastards...............I hate them...is that allowed????

This waving of sensibilities in political forums is really disturbing, we can't have Julie because she might offend a trans person, well I would not expect a trans person to want to have Julie (or any of us) round to tea, but public debate is the arena were viewpoints should be heard and robust discussion encouraged. Whether trans people wish to acknowledge it or not many feminists do not want them in their spaces and we are as entitled to that view as they are to refuse to invite us into their homes. This is silencing of valid feminist concerns and of public debate in general.

Absolutely. Too many women are still too well trained to give way to fist swinging and/or whinge swinging males. I'm afraid many of those women don't even question it. They've already buried their own greatness, as well as their sensitivity to being fucked over, way too deep. It's going to be a long slog, still. But, ya know - I'm in for the long slog. :shoot: :shoot:

Julie is a lovely person btw.

Just goes to show what bullies the tranz lobby are for slagging her off so.
Fuckin' entitled male assholes. Hence I won't be greeting them with open arms as "sister".
They can just fuck off.

I was involved in that NUS Women's campaign for years, I am very disappointed! It used to be politically better, i think. Though at the time I wasn't very politically edukated so maybe it wasn't.

What seems to be happening is that trans activists insist that there is a gender binary in which they identify as the opposite of whatever they were born, while at the same time insisting that anyone who deviates from the socially constructed gender norms is trans.
So, which is it. You as a male individual identify as woman, while you insist that anyone who isn't in strict conformance to gender norms is trans. I do not think they are identifying as what they think they are at all. I think they are identifying as what they think they are not. Which I wouldn't be the least bit concerned about if it weren't for the fact that they insist on imposing their designation on everyone else with their trans umbrella hoo ha.
Somewhere along the line it should become obvious that trans activists do not identify as women at all. They identify as trans, and they want most everybody else to, too.

You know the old saying, a sieve won't hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

Yep! That's about right. It's the person insisting on across the board conformity who is insecure with themselves. Even if others are fine letting them be who they are, they can't find peace unless they have lock-step happening. :whatever: (Not that they would find peace even if they do wrangle others into submission, but they think that's what their problem is).

When it suits them, but then at other times, like when they want sympathy (or access to women's space and special attention within it), they insist in calling women, who clearly deviate from their 'gender roles' (e.g. lesbian separatists), cis

We are all trans when it suits and all cis when that suits! it's an unlosable identity tool designed to get them what they want in every situation.
